Re-finding Woodwork

Here’s a little more about me, I’m Hamish. Girl Dad, D&D playing woodworker. I initially got into woodworking via my dad when I was about 10, by dabbling in some hand carving. 3 year’s ago I started on my journey to getting my head straight again, after struggling with my mental health for a number of years everything came to a head and something needed to change. That change for me was finding something to do that wasn’t looking at a screen and was being creative (I understand the irony of stating that i didn’t want to look at a screen, while typing this looking at a screen, but you know what i mean). So I rediscovered woodworking…

Since that point 3 year’s ago I’ve been on a slow journey building up my experience and learning new techniques (YouTube expert right here). I now feel like I am at a point to take it one step further and get some of my creations out into the wild. Hence why on 27th February 2026 I am launching my first product range.

As part of my first product launch I will be focusing on the kitchen, with a few chopping board designs, utensils and some home decor bits. Over the next couple of weeks I will be sharing more details about what will be available.
